Step by Step: Walk for Wellness
The Step by Step: Walk for Wellness Challenge is a 9-week pedometer based active living challenge. The challenge incorporates two important facts:
- Most adults spend over half their waking hours at work
- Walking is the number one activity among Canadians.
Incorporating this information into the development of a workplace pedometer based walking program provides an opportunity for workplaces to create a fun wellness challenge that promotes physical activity and healthy eating.
